Do you like him,not like him,think he's just a typical politician?He's gotten alot of publicity in the states for putting down the NHS and saying America still has the best healthcare system in the world.He seems a little off his rocker(delusional) if you ask me,if he can actually say the US has the best healtchcare system worldwide.
We don't really understand the European Parliament and tend to send our fascists and crazies over there as a joke...
I corrected the title to MEP.Even though he is a member of European Parliament,he seems to specifically single out the UKs healthcare system.But I blame American media,because instead of putting anyone with a fair and honest viewpoint(in any area),they always parade the most radical extremists.
I do wonder how one persons opinion can outweigh the opinions of hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people. I do love the European Parliament.
The EU institutions are basically expensive retirement homes for people who have failed in national politics. Very occasionally one of them comes back from the dead, e.g. "Lord" Mandelson. I doubt if this Hannan dude will be heard much of again.
