I use the scented Bronner's bar (rose).

But I also make my own body spray and I do spray my hair with it. It has Lavendar, Rosewood, Patchouli and Ylang ylang.

For dudes, Sandalwood, Patchouli, and Bergamot

Nothing, When I've used oils with washing I found it never really stayed smelling once they'd dried out. So I guess hair smell is my scent. mmmm.

    Add more...?

I just washed with patchouli and it's lingered for at least 2 days. It's subtle and not over powering. You can only smell it you put your nose up to my hair, no different than using patchouli shampoo. I also washed with lemon juice, baking soda, and sea salt.

3-5. Patchouli is really strong. I may try 6-7 next time to see if it makes a difference.

If you want your hair to smell like the fragrance, just rub 1 or 2 drops in your hair with your fingers. If you want a much more subtle smell, add it the water (or soap you use that sort of thing) you wash with.
