Cinnamon going into surgery

Hello All!

I haven't been posting much lately cuz I've been hitting quite a few medical bumbs in the past few months. You can read my journal if you'd like some details but the jist of it all is that I am going to be going into surgery on Thurday Aug 20 at 8am and I'd really appreciate it if y'all could send some prayers, good vibes, etc my way.

I talked to Juju while they were doing their thing w/ cinnamon, he sd she looks good.He sounds like he could use some love himself! So, please keep sending love light energy to our sister, this aint over yet.Thanks for all prayers, energy, & love.

 

I'm super glad to know that she's doing ok, and I bet this is hard for Juju and their son.

 

Ya know I talked to her last nite, and their son is a real trooper! Something about the water, and he has fixed it 3? times now! Even from a hosp. bed she's reminding of stuff I need to take to Kerrville in my medical Kit! Oh, and she is sending the love vibes back. I'm like " it's hard for us aint it? We can take care of everyone else,but dont know how to just take whatever it is we need for ourselves.From one sister to another, just take it.Ya need it right now,listen to your sister!" LOL! She gives all the time, and she will even more when she's all better, and she will be better! Thanks for the energy kidz!

P.S. Juju is hanging in. He loves his lady sooooooooo much.It's awesome!Their so cute!

I'm baaaacckkkkk!

Me oh my, a whole 'Beatle week' in the hospital (8 days); I couldn't have even imagined such a thing could happen to me but it did.

Here's what happened: Everything started out good but the docs saw a large lymph node near my liver, which made it necessary for them to cut me from my pelvic bone to the bottom of my breast bone to remove it. Everything else went ok, the washes to check for cancer didn't turn up anything bad and they didn't see any signs that the cancer had migrated from my uterus, tho the pathology report said that the cancer had grown deep into the uterine muscle. The scary part came the next day, when I developed blood clots in my lungs. JuJu & the docs were very worried but I felt all the love & concern that y'all & everyone I know had surrounded me with & I knew it would be ok. Still I was in ICU for a day & in IMC (intermediate care) for a few days before I was returned to the regular floor where I could finally have my flowers back (no flowers allowed in ICU or IMC). I'm still on oxygen but I got to come home Thursday night & boy oh boy, I was never so happy to see my busses or to sleep in my own bed! It's going to be an interesting recovery, I am on a hard-core blood thinner for the next 6 months & will have to monitored very closely for that, plus they found out that I have high blood-pressure, which must be watched but for the most part I feel very good and I am hoping to go back to school in January to become a nurse (believe it or not, I was planning my new career long before we knew that I was sick!)

I want to thank everyone for the prayers, thoughts, well wishes & all because I know in my heart that it was all of that wonderful energy that saved my life. Y'all truely ROCK!!!!!!!!
