i have not heard of them. i have seen and tried deep fried fig newtons. they were not too bad. i would rather have mine not fried though.

since i'm in texas, i would only eat anything that was cold or, at room temp.
it is too goddamn hot in the summer to drink or eat anything hot!
so, i would eat ice cream, a large chilled pickle, a greek salad, chilled soup, etc.
i would drink: iced coffee, iced tea, iced lemonade iced water, etc.

I usually get that frozen slushy lemonade (maybe it's a specialty of Sunny Florida, or if they have it other places, I'm sure there is. lol) and funnel cake. Splurging is okay when you're celebrating I suppose. haha

This old man eats just about all of that and more!

I've been to Bonnaroo two times, and the food they have to sell is excellent if pricey. They have this one central cafe that has actual plates of food that is quite good. It's mostly veggie stuff.

Just avoid the general stores there. Stoopid prices, like $3 bananas (that's EACH, not per pound!) and $15 for a rubber mallet that costs about $1 at Wally world. Bring your own supplies!

Stay hydrated and cool, drink lotsa cold liquids (NOT alcoholic, that dehydrates you!). Again, drink a LOT of water!

Also, last year my friend showed me how to REALLY live at the fest, and brought gourmet food to cook for us to eat. YUMM!! :)

When I go to Harmony Park (SE Minnesota), I always buy a Fest Burrito.... so big and delicious.
