Connecticut has one of the biggest gaps between rich and poor in the country

But I actually like our little corner of Connecticut, literally though just the coast from West Haven to Guilford, rest of CT can go fuck itself

 

Every area has its shortcomings... the Portland area is a bit more diverse but the culture can be backward. At least it isn't the evil money sucking plutocracy that Connecticut is. Yes, there is great wealth in Ct... and most of that is concentrated with five percent of the population- as madcap said. Connecticut IS a shortcoming. Buddha is fortunate to be in the farmlands... the rolling fields of corn, tobacco, and stanky cattle farms. Of course development seems to be making incursions into that. Ellington seems to be morphing into suburbia... there are a few farms left there though.

Sorry about the boy dying.I never heard much about the state before I worked in south Florida.Seemed like it was mostly Connecticut people that had giant vacation homes around Palm Beach that tried to screw me out of my money after I worked on their homes.hmmm.

I had a kegger Saturday night and when one of my friends was leaving some guy came up to her like 200 feet from my place and tried to sneak up on her. He was like "oh, sorry didn't mean to scare you". She tried to get away and he put her in a headlock with a gun in her face and robbed her blind. He tried to rape her, but she kinda fought him off and he thought she was making a scene....Dumbass used her debit card at the Speedway a block away though, so they got him on camera and shit.
