i have a guinea pig in my room, and i didnt clean the cage for a while. when i finally did, i noticed some mushrooms growing from his shit...i decided to keep them in a container and they've grown very big very fast. Now i know they're probably not psychedelic, but i do want to make sure...

Does anyone know a good site or reference for identifying mushrooms? if need be i can post a description of one

Post pics and a full description of the mushroom. Also, take a spore print.

i would like to see the guinea pig shroom.. I saw a post yesterday with deer poop shrooms, Animals that are herbivores its said thier poop is good for growing shrooms.
I asked a Llama poop question but It never got answered.. Only cause them asshole know that I know the answer already.. yeah it will work if its cleaned and sterile.

That said, it's no surprise cow shit and then horse shit is used as substrate for mushrooms in fields. Feed the cow grains, rye, and brown rice, and you can probably just grow your shrooms in a farm field with that cow shit anywhere.

you still need viable spores, In the wild theres millions of spores floating in the air, Its only by the grace of the great cosmic fish that they land and grow in the cow patty..
