Apparently there's more to being fat then just needing bigger pants http://news.yahoo.com/s/livescience/20090825/sc_livescience/obesepeoplehaveseverebraindegeneration Remember stoners, your munchies might catch up to you one day.
Thanks alot.... but I'm pretty sure there are other past events that have caused more brain damage than my weight
that's my guess.. lower blood flow lowers the amount of oxygen going to the brain.. but also most obese people end up with some sort of breathing condition too.. which also lowers oxygen going to the brain.. also lack of proper nutrients that help protect and build brain tissue
I would, the heart is just what pumps fuel around the body(metaphorically) The body as a whole is just a vehicle for the brain, it's our brain we live in
I wonder if there's a connection between the brain degeneration and the lack of motivation in some obese people. The ones who know their health is failing but still continue to live in the same manner they have been? It would make sense.
Thats what I'm thinking. Obese people (in general not a fact or standard of any type) tend to be less active than healthy people. I wonder if its just from leading a slower less active life and not using your brain as much, or if it is from the brain having to work overtime to keep your body running with more material than an average brain would have to oversee.
