Walkin' the grounds at SPAC last weekend I heard a young man talkin' BIG about a reggae project in the works, with some heavy hitters paying tribute to the music of Phish. He said he's heard Toots, Steel Pulse, Gregory Isaacs, and Burning Spear are on board.

I haven't been able to find anything on it..Anyone else heard anything??? Sounds like it could be decent...

    Great energy last Sunday..Peace!! :hat:

Sounds like it would be pretty sweet, but I've never heard of it either.

Sounds like it would be exactly what they did with the Grateful Dead.

That Reggae Dead disc was a slam-dunk. Same producers also did did Dylan, Stones, and a number of other tribute records. None were as good as the Dead, though

Also read where there was a reggae tribute to Phish already done, but was soley instrumental and in the end, was terrible.

I hope these guys knew what they were talking about.. And if the project is a go, with Steel Pulse, Toots, Burning Sprear, etc., this should be the best of them all.

What other Phish tribute records have their been, if any?

Yeah there are at least 2 instrumental bluegrass phish tributes. They are ok. Nothing to rush out and buy.
