is it true that the red cross can sell your blood once its donated. i heard that you give it free to them but they can sell it becuz their not a government branch or hired by the gov. so they do as the please with your blood.

They sell it to hospitals. Not for profit means no profit, meaning they have to spend or give everything away (huge salaries). THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULDN'T GIVE BLOOD. It does save lives and we need more people to do it.
