so last night as im finishing my internet yu yu hakusho madness marathon i notice its very late. so i shut down and crawl in to bed and about three seconds before i fall asleep my eyes open and my lamp flickers three times on and off and it was off before, plus i heard the clicking noise it makes when you turn it which means it was not a discharge of stored energy!!:eek:

You should be more sensitive to the needs of the dead :toetap05:

Just because you’re ready to bed down for the night doesn’t necessarily mean the spirits
which inhabit your household are

Okay so last night I was laying down and it was about 2:50 and I did the same thing. Laid down after screwing around on the computer for hours and I set my alarm and all of the sudden my dog started barking furiously I turned my head (towards the window) on my pillow and heard click click - click click -click click a sequence of three on-off, on-off, on-off etc. shocked because there are not any really bright lights outside my window, I didn't know what to think so I naturally freaked out and ran downstairs but then started considering that it could have been someone inside my house turning on and off the patio deck light but no one was on that level, then I freaked out even more thinking that it could have been on the basement level leading out to the ground, it could have been that light but both light bulbs are energy savers and they take a while to light up. Plus the clicking noise of a lightswitch is way softer than the one I heard.

It sounded more like a breaker switch going on and off, this was just last night.

So my family thinks I am crazy, but I know what I saw I was not sleeping when this happened and there aren't any other big lights outside my window capable of doing this, nor could anyone be on the 3rd floor window outside making this happen.

    WTF!!

it's a light bulb! don't you think a ghost would say hello, make himself visible or do something a little less subtle to get your attention?

Not really, considering their track record.

So they'd rather freak people out and keep them wondering, "heh, MAYBE that was a ghost...'
