Attention: Barefooters!

The idea of having a chat room just for barefooters (in which to discuss problems, share stories, provide advice and mutual support) in "real time" appears to be gaining traction. PLEASE VOTE if you think you would ACTIVELY participate (join in). Members here are from around the world, so we'd have to find a day and time when MOST people could participate or just keep it open for those who might be around, as is the case with other chat groups. THANK YOU ALL.

i don't get it.

there are two or three barefooters that come into the regular chat now.. don't type anything and then leave..

do the barefooters really need their own room just to not chat in?

why can't the barefooters just chat in the regular room?

 

There are probably too many people on hipforums that aren't open to the idea of barefooting and might just ruin our chat. In fact, we have people trolling these forums and/or opposing the barefoot lifestyle all the time, it seems!

 

When is the chat ? I live on the east coast of the US. Are many international members present?

The idea is that barefooters would be able to control the chatter because it would be all about barefooting. Trolls and such have been known to be kicked off this site.......

The living barefoot website has live chat. Also a monthly podcast which is informative. Have not tried it myself (the chat), just heard about it in the latest podcast. This may be an opportunity to unite more of us from separate forums.

 

The site tends to be a bit disingenuous. It exists to sell footwear as a "middle ground" between shod and barefoot. In short, it's really not a barefoot site. The chat mechanism is way too complicated.
