What's your Favorite acid?

For all you home brewers, what is your favorite acid to use in DMT extractions?

 

HCl. It's easy to get, cheap and it's a strong acid. You can use whatever you want, but a strong acid is always gonna give you better results.

 

I've only used vinegar. The lye is scary enough for me.

 

Vinegar isn't guaranteed to react fully every time. HCl is.

Yea man. I Used acetic acid the first time I ever pulled an extraction, yields were okay. Once I moved to muriatic acid, I had better yields! Just thought I would see what others were using.

 

when i get around to doing an A/B extract i'm just going to use HCL
