Do you prefer to teach or to be taught/learn?

If you were a teacher, what subject/class would you choose to teach? at what level?

(and is RT gone? i havent been here in a while.)

If i was to teach i would want to teach a writing class or a english class and it was be high school level either grades 11th or 12th.
I wouldn't like to deal with the immature younger kids.

And i like to teach people new things and learn new things.

I would love to teach, if it was political science, history or geography.

I like to teach skiing and cycling to people since its something I love to do and love to introduce people to.

But if I am trying to teach someone something else I always get really nervous that I'll mistakenly say something incorrect and be called out on it.

I really do enjoy learning new things though, its great.

at the rate im going, i may end up becoming a professor of religion...i suck at teaching, but i think once i had a PhD i would have no problems...i would want to teach classes on religious expereince, cross-faith yadda yadda --at college level, undergraduate students preferably

mainly i would do this so i could do research, and have enough money to survive in this monetary attached society

never wanted to teach, but now its a likely possibility

    ---
as for learning I LOVE it!!! i'd stay in school forever if i could...well maybe not since there are so many ways in which to learn, but i love learning, learning is part of existing (if we even do exist)...so i prefer to learn...but who is to say we can't learn as we teach? plus we never stop learning :D

I'd like to teach Algebra, considering I love it and had an awesome teacher to show me the way.... I feel like too many people 'hate math' because they were never given a good teacher.

Other than that, fuck teaching. I'd hate to teach anyone young, because kids try too hard to be funny or rebellious or whatever else, and I'd feel like I was wasting my time.

I love to learn though. If I have a good teacher, I actually look forward to going to class.

That reminds me of an awesome teacher I had for Stats in college. He was this little old man from New Orleans and he was phenomenal at relating math to really interesting things so most times you didn't even realize you were learning a new concept.

math is all logic though.... saying that you are just 'horrible' at it is pretty much giving up. I think math is something that CAN be grasped.

Me, I'll never be a singer. I don't have good vocal chords.... but math, shit I feel like if anyone puts some time and effort into it, they can be good as well.....
