Yes, typically the leaves will turn mostly yellow, but with little bits of green remaining. They suck the juices out of the leaf.

Again, I don't know if they are a common mj pest. I have seen them on other tropical plants. The web is very fine and like I said it is not organized like a regular spider web but more chaotic. I hope someone with more experience will chime in.

yep more than likely spider mites.........a dead give away that it's spider mites is a bunch of yellowish white speckles on the leaves, eventually followed by stringy webs.........

Also, if you can get them to a shower/tub or outside to hose them off you can greatly reduce the number of mites. Careful of the plants and don't disrupt the soil too much of course.

for outdoors........one i like to use is......

    2 cloves of garlic
    1 tsp. Tobasco sauce
    Dish soap
    Water

first, ground up the 2 cloves of garlic 'till it's pretty mushy, put this into your container to mix all ingredients, now add your 1 tsp. of Tobasco sauce to the mix. Now add enough water to fill your container........i like to use spray bottles so your amount of each will vary depending on the size of your final container. Let this ground garlic and tobasco and water mix sit for 2-6 hours........obviously the longer you let it sit the more potent it is. After letting the mix sit for awhile, strain out the bits of garlic and KEEP the remaining, strained, liquid. Now add a drop of dish soap (this helps the mixture stick to the leaves). Shake your mixture until you can't shake anymore.........now put it in a spray bottle (if you didn't already use a spray bottle)......apply to the undersides of leaves inbetween rains if outdoors........if indoors, probably apply every 3rd watering.

    hope that makes sense

Nice to see all ya work and worrying will pay off. Ya gotta keep going with any mite sprays till every1 is dead as they can become immune. I found with home made garlic sprays it only really keeps the numbers down and if plants are in blooming it can turn the pisils brown and make ya think they've finished early. Hard work but rubbing the underside of the leafs will kill off a few.
