I'm a 28 year old single mom in Montreal. Any others out there? I'm always looking for groovy new people to meet... My son could use some baby company too... He's 10 months old.
But honestly, especially with the Tam-Tam happening every Sunday and all, it would be cool to meet up with random people and hang out in the sun.
hi, i'm new to the area, and was wondering where are the tamtams on sundays? also do you know of any other happening things going on a regular basis?
I'm 30 from Montreal.. I try to go to the tams tams as often as time permits. Maybe we'll run into eachother sometime.
what kind of things are you looking to do? (Mtl's got a lot of culture, lots of different areas to do different things in). Tam tams happens on Mount Royal. Hundreds and sometimes thousands of people gather at the park every sunday... What's cool about it is how diverse the crowd is. It's just a bunch of people enjoying the day, doing different things. And it's got a soundtrack as well. Groups of people gather with their choice of drum, and play all day... Some people dance, others sit and enjoy . Lots of smoking... Overal a great way to spend a sunday.
Well, I'm not from Montreal, I'm from UK, but I might be over the pond later this summer. If I end up (probably lost) in Quebec, then you might (very smll chance, I know) bump into me. I'll be the dreadlocked guy begging for change. Maybe busking badly.
In the plateau, even when there's nothing in particular going on, there's something going on. And welcome to Montreal. Where are you living?
I've no clue when you wrote this, so you're either here right now, not yet or aleady gone. Either way, hope you had fun or hope you are or hope you do.
I go to Montreal very often, about once every week/two weeks. Never been to the Tam Tams, but have always wanted to go. :]
