The first time I smoked I felt after effects throughout most of the next day and maybe a little the day after that, but otherwise it's just I go to sleep super baked and then I wake up tired as fuck but no "effects"

Early on when I started smoking I had similar affects but after a little they went away.
I do get burned out on shitty weed easer then good weed. but I think that applys to all shitty / good things.

And monstermann68 why are you posting that propaganda bull shit.

I get more burnt out from good weed actually. But the burn out is more pleasant, I still feel "high" throughout it, just really tired and worn out. It's a nice feeling though and it's natures way of saying "Wait a bit before you smoke more :p"

It depends how much you smoke those 1-2 times though. I'm usually smoking 1g or bigger joints now so when I smoke its the kind of night that I wont remember the next morning. Before I could smoke every day without ever feeling burnt out just because I had a really low tolerance and could probably get 4 joints out of 1.5g.

Dude, if you really want to have a debate based upon research and such feel free but I think you will find that you are not on the winning side. Not that you are totally wrong. Yes, several of the "facts" listed on those sites are true to a point but all lies are based upon a little bit of truth. You taking a D.A.R.E. class is just spouting the same propaganda.

The government throws out these facts that are based upon people who have never smoked weed and then try it for the first time. Long term marijuna use is not great for you but it's not nearly as bad as it is projected in those web sites. Like anything else you need to learn how to experience things in your own way. I looked over your web sites and I can say it's the same stuff they have been saying for years without any real facts.

Like I said, anytime you want to talk feel free. Have a good day.

    I said "Good Day"!

Just something I was saying in another thread about drugs in general.

I have to say that I did understand a lot more about music, movies, TV and books after I tried a few drugs. I am not saying you have to do drugs in order to understand, but you will understand it on a whole other level if you do. This does not mean I expect everyone not to experience any forms of entertainment that are drug related in some way but I think you will find a lot less forms of entertainment thoughout the ages that has not been influenced by drug use. I can tell you for a fact that if you had a stack of rock music that was not created by someone who uses drugs of some kind at one point or another would be very small.

does anyone get sarcasm anymore? one would have thought my blatant attempts to praise D.A.R.E. were obviously sarcastic....not to mention that my previous 470 posts on this forum should have been a clue that i am quite a strong proponent of MJ legalization...

and besides, i think my PhD in Biochemistry gives me a rather reasonable background on the physiologic and biochemical effects associated with drugs, not to mention my ability to critically read primary literature and pick out the serious flaws in the bullshit research that gets published in horrific journals that'll publish just about anything.

no, but can't it cause panic disorder and other such illnesses? have you heard of derealization/depersonalization disorder? it's the marijuana equivalent of HPPD. people smoke one joint, and then they are screwed for many years (or for the rest of their lives).
i am NOT an anti-marijuana activist (have smoked the stuff myself), but what do you say for things like that, when that happens?

provide a link to a article in a peer reviewed journal that supports any of those claims. if you do that, i'll address whether it is complete, partial or not bullshit. i've never come across any articles that address any of these issues, but i'm slightly inclined think it is more bullshit claims in articles from obscure journals authored by psychologists doing poorly controlled statistical surveys (psychology isn't even a real science, not mention how easy it is to intentionaly deceive one's audience with statistics).

I can't really answer the question in the OP for the sole reason that not everyone is affected in the same way.

However, I can say that smoking constantly for a week doesn't really change the way I do my daily routine but I do get a more "flowing" feeling in my body.

no no that's actually good :)
i have just seen a video on youtube where this girl claims to have gotten depersonalization disorder from smoking a joint. i don't know if that is credible, but it scared me into never smoking again (mind you.. i'd never had problems of that calibre). there's also a movie ("Numb") where the main character gets this disorder from smoking pot.

i am not suggesting this is true. i am just noting some sources i've come across that are most likely, as you say, false, but that made an impression on me nevertheless. all of these people claimed to have gotten it right after smoking. there's even a website about this. apparently, it's as though the high never went away for them.

meh...a youtube video of a girl saying she got some (made-up) psychological disorder means exactly nothing to me. if these conditions were real, so prevalent, and so easily caused by smoking one joint, it would be all over the place in science journals. i'm not criticizing you (it's good to hear as much as you can from as many people/sources as possible), but one must always be critical of what they hear.
