Now ever since ive tripped everything around me seems so...fake. i feel i am no longer who i am because ive realised 'what' i am. Just a brain.., everyone is just a brain. I cannot find Acid anymore than that one time. one thing ive learned from my experience is TRIPIN AINT EASY!
damn...Things will never be the same. i guess nothing good in life comes easy.... did you like my pimpin' ain't easy reference?
the pimping aint easy thing i didnt notice until after, so nice job lol....I dont know much about tripping these days i havent tried in a awhile so my opinon wouldnt matter lol
is tripping hard for you or is it coming back to reality thats hard? I've never really had a hard time with it, it always feels so natural.
Welcome to the other side of the looking glass. I saw an interview with Ralph Metzner in which he said that no matter who you are that after taking LSD your world and sense of reality will never be the same, for good or bad, it will never be as it was before. (paraphrased I don't remember the exact qoute)
Reality can be unpleasant to discover sometimes. The way things are can be a slap in the face if you are unprepared for them, or if don't see in in the way is comfortable for you. You just have to be in the right mindset to accept some of the things you learn. Upon closer examination, you will discover something: we are liquid beings, with our bodies performing liquid functions to support electric funtions (<--these being in the brain, involving our neurons), and electric functions are liquid functions too... So most of what you experience is the result of how liquid conditions effect the flow of electricity in a glob of gelatin. This goes pretty deep and there is a little more to it, but I had a rough night last night and didn't get much sleep, so I won't bother hypothesizing about it now.
I don't think we ever come back to reality. Our perception of reality has been altered by an awareness that reality is subject to personal perspective and may not be the only reality. :cheers2:
I'll explain my thinking better: Your body supports your brain. It does so through 'liquid functions' (eg hormones, blood, nuerotransmitters, muscular function) These liquid functions effect the flow of electricity in your brain and body. In most animals, the brain has the capability to regulate the liquid functions for the best performance of itself, or at least for the animalistic goals set forth by the particular species. You experience this world due to and through the flow of electricity in your brain. Therefore, the liquid functions of the body effect the flow of electricity in the brain and body, therefore effecting how you percieve the world.
Thats deep man. its just hard for me now. its exactly like the matrix i can discover a world as something more than what it is. and btw i am a brain sounds more correct
what the fuck is reality anyways? lol, iam begiinign to realize that i used to put too much thought into it, iam also beginning to not care lol
lol its really awesome how iam spawned to be able to veiw my surroundings and make observations about this planet and life, the human mind is brillant man, iam starting to grow a whole new appreciation.:cheers2: edit-thats my philosphy and nothing can change it lol
i cant understand the i am a brain comment. what about your fingers man? you sound pretty disconnected from your body. my advice is to get out of your head for a while.
I use my brain, but I'm not solely my brain. Don't know if I would call my essential being a soul or the soul is exactly what I mean but I don't think of myself as just a brain. I can imagine your view on it but I experience it a bit differently. By the way, I have tripped a couple of times but not on LSD.
