Just thinking about the effects of different opiates and realized that most can be grouped into one of the three categories in the title.

So, which group is your favorite? And why? Are you more into the sedation/nod, or the euphoria/mood lift aspect? Are there any opiates that blow the rest out of the water or, conversely, don't do anything at all for you? (Not just a tolerance-based question, btw).

For me, the best are the semi-synthetics--i.e. hydrocodone and oxycodone. They provide the most euphoria, but the high is short-lived and much more "addicting" to me than that of natural opiates like pods and opium. Haven't tried any fully synthetics like fentanyl, but I have no desire to, as they seem to be the most potent/dangerous of all. Codeine in pill form is pretty euphoric for me too, but as an alkaloid in pods it's not all that great.

I like oxycodone the best since it provides a versatile effect without a lot of undesireable side effects. The euphoria on it is great in moderate doses and it mixes well with other opiates and opioids. Oxy and morphine are my favorite combination, so much that i made it up as a screen name! Morphine is a true opiate and has a very gentle sedating quality to it that synergizes really nicely with the uplift of oxycodone. Oxy also mixes great with hydrocodone and it seems they potentiate each other on the euphoria. Codeine plus hydrocodone provide an awesome euphoria, as well. One time, I tried oxy, hydrocodone and codeine all together and it didn't impress me all that much, though I thought it would. Could have just been my own chemistry that day. But, I want to get ahold of some morphine and oxy at the same time again! The best kind of morph is the hydrochloride liquid that's made for pain pumps or IV administration, but very hard to find. Got mine from someone who knew someone who was in a near fatal car crash who had some extra. The MS contin tablets work well when plugged.

I'm more into the euphoria/mood lift aspect of them and like being functional on them. If I want a nod, I'll dose up on the ambien or soma. Btw, that combo is the most knockout asskicking combo I've ever tried. 10 mg ambien and even 1 or 2 soma tablets. For me, it seems doing opiates into the nod is just a waste. But, to each their own!

I find it quite easy to fuck up with opium and barely feel anything...I know it's quite a subtle high, but I have found it very inconsistent, from *very* sedating and buzzy to nothing at all. Strange.

Dope is my favourite, but then we don't get pharmaceutical opiates, apart from methadone, in Britain anywhere near as common as you guys seem to. Hadn't even seen oxycodone till a few months ago, got hold of morphine once in a while. No hydrocodone. 12.8 mgs codeine and ibuprofen over the counter, used to get me proper wasted. And yet heroin is pretty common in nearly every city if you know where to look.

There are also the atypical or non-opioid type ones. Kratom and tramadol being examples, right? Though some people class tram as an atypical opioid. Kratom used to be quite inconsistent, cause I bought from different manufacturers to test it. Sometimes it got me feeling mad nice, havent done it for a while.

And i'm high and im rambling...
