a budy gave me a bunch of movies on dvd, apparently they play just fine on a regular player, but i cant play them on my computer? any free software that will allowe me too????? thanks!

Good luck with your DVD situation. I can't help you with that. I just wanted to let you know that I haven't watched anything on DVD for 6 months now because I found this amazing website where I can watch movies for free. There is no need to download and you really don't need to sign up. Just click on a movie or search for a specific one. When you find that movie, click on it. It will take you to a page with different links for websites that will let you watch it. It'll say "WATCH FULL". Sometimes there are many different options and other times there are only a few. Depending how popular the movie is. Now, above each link it'll say something like NOVAMOV, MOVSHARE, WISEVID, etc... Viewers will also vote on if the video works. It might say "55% say it works". Or "52% says it doesn't work". Only click on the videos that viewers say work. But look at all the options. If the video says something like, "72% say the video works", click on whatever one has the most votes. Some videos are better quality than others. Sometimes you can watch the whole thing with no interruptions and other times there might be interruptions. I know NOVAMOV you need to click for it to play but then pause it and wait about a half hour. Otherwise it'll just keep buffering. But MEGAVIDEO won't give you that problem at all. It'll let you watch the movie without stopping to buffer. Only problem is it only lets you watch 72 minutes of the video before telling you that you need to wait 45 minutes before watching the rest. You just need to play around with it. What I'm explaining probably makes it sound complicated but its quite simple. It's legal for the most part, Its just like making music playlists at playlist.com or something. Its the same thing. They pretty much have whatever movies you can get in the video stores.
