They were a hype here about a year ago. I hope you believe me when I say the hype has nothing to do with it, but I didn't really like their music.
New album Humanoid is out. I got the Deluxe Edition (not that expensive, lol). It makes great workout music! The boys have gone through a few more style-changes since the first album, too: (except Georg- he never changes) And most recently:
only heard the single Monsoon on the radio and that wasn't too bad (didn't get the urge to change stations) but they look like a mix of Culture Club and Hanson...aren't they german btw?
I dislike this band for the same reason I dislike Slipknot and Disturbed: The FANS I know that it's not exactly open-minded of me to not even give them a shot, but if I have to be categorized with a bunch of 15-year old screaming fangirls, I'm out. Sorry, Tokio Hotel.
You know, I don't hold that against you. You can't go on a website and read news about the band without a bunch of squeeing psychos writing about how they want their bods and they're angels and blah blah blah *puke*. What's the worst is when they happen to date someone and then the little monsters verbally abuse them and say scary shit like "gEt aWay FroM hiM, YOu wh0re!1! bill iz mine!@#@%!!@!!@!" Christ, it's sick, that mentality. I think bands should speak out against it to be honest, but they won't because that's most of their paycheck right there...
