so I recently got a bag of bud with a few seeds in it, and it made me think, why have I never grown? so I got everything I would really need together, germinated some seeds, and set a grow box up. I decided to use a PC for a growbox mostly for stealth. I germinated a seed and planted it yesterday morning (8-5-09) and when I woke up the next day it was sprouted. also, the lighting I'm using right now is one 27watt CFL, but I'm most likely going to put another 27watt in when the plant gets a little bigger. That picture was taken on Day 1, and as the plant progresses I'll update this thread with pictures.
yeah, that picture was taken right after I had gotten home from not being home for about 24 hours or so, and it was given water.
I dont really plan on growing it fully in that box, but I plan on having it in there as long as possible. I'm going to top the hell out of it when it gets a few more leaf sets, then I plan on LSTing it, but it will need to be moved out of that box, and I have another set up in my closet that I plan on moving it to when its needed.
I was gonna say LST it. lol. also just because the soil looks dry doesnt mean it is, always check UNDER the top of the soil for moisture. And you know your gonna have to get more lightAGE for that right?
heres another update. day 9. theres three leaf sets right now and I plan on topping it on the fourth leaf set. once I hit the two week mark I'm going to switch to 12/12.
Lol what ya gonna do it they really decide to take off. ya really should not top mj at less then 4 weeks from seed as it increases the male count and pos the odd hermi maybe appear. blooming at two week still immature normally around 4-6 weeks plant can be bloomed.
yea bra!! i'm right here with you!! hell we may have used the same computer! i'm growing mine all in the box (i have no other choice) and i will either use SCROG or LST wich in my mind are basically the same thing!! haha i have read about topping.. but topping scares the hell outa me!! haha i've read on scrog and lst and would love to know why you chose LST? just wondering and did you use the power supply to wire the lights and fan? i took mine out but i wish i could have used it... that would have been great.. but i have spent 0$ so far on my grow and thats the way i want to keep it hahah thanks!! keep us posted!!
Well if you actually did this I'm sure you regret it. You shouldn't switch to flowering after only 2 weeks.
