God is a conscript that was created by con men that organized forms of religion to control and manipulate the ignorant masses.........................
I'm with you there. Without concrete evidence of god's existence, I can only conclude god is a fabrication of man.
Yes, I can understand this,,,I have been on both sides "of the fence". I wasn`t born into a "Christian family" My Mom believed in God,,,Said to me once when I was about 5 yrs old "There is a God" It actually started when I could remember this "Window Cling Thing" My mother would put it up in our Picture window in the living-room. It was like a stained glass window,,,took up the whole window,,,it was of Mary and Jesus. It was the prettiest thing ever,,,don`t know what happened to it,,,only saw it like two times,,,I asked my Mother "who is that ?" she said "Jesus and his mother Mary,,," I was so amazed at it,,,it would take my breath away,,,I know,,,,I know,,,but it did. And then later,,,we had a house-keeper,,,who was Catholic,,,she would read from the Bible to me at night,,,those were my bed time stories,,,and I liked them,,,they seemed to keep me safe and warm then,,,I`ll get back to this,,,I need to go,,,but there is alot to say,,, Penny Aka dreamingofTheo.
I believe in a creative positive energy force that flows through everything. It's of immeasurable power, without limit, and of a dimension inconceivable through rational thought. I believe in the concentration of this energy within humans who have walked the earth esp. Lao Tzu, Chuang Tzu, Siddartha Buddha, Muhammed, and Christ, among others. The basic moral values in the teachings of these men is undeniably the same. I also believe in the absolute antithesis of this energy; a destructive void. Positivity v. Negativity Yin v. Yang Good v. Evil God v. Devil Man v. Machine (just kidding...sorta) With very little exception all of us familiarize ourselves with this battle in some way, shape, or form. After that, its all just a pile of semantic blockage.
I don't know. I doubt it but I don't know. But since you only give Yes or No as a choice, I would go with No.
i believe that god is a state of mind that helps people get through life, and obstacles, and although i am against religion, but believe there is definitely a higher power. whether it is real or in our minds, its still exists.
Well, would you expect God to have an actual address or something? Not like he'd list himself in the phonebook.
God exists. I say this because God comes in many forms, God can be called God or Allah, in the end people still worship a higher power that they call God. Another theory is that God is a metaphor for energy, because all existance is dependant on Him and that He exists through everything.
thats silly. God is purely perspective on the individual. But, if u ask me, open your eyes, open your mind, and think. God is simply the name for everything in the entire universe, all happening at once, god is the greater picture, i have found god many times, god is not a person, got is not a conciseness judgmental thing like religions believe, god is everything, god is all, you are god, i am god, we are all god. God is everything. I am the most non religious person i know, but i have found god. :]
No, I just expect things that supposedly created the Earth, the universe, and mankind to leave evidence. Lack of evidence suggests those things don't actually exist and never will. I mean, we have fifteen million different god(s) in this worth threatening us with damnation if we don't believe in them. Everyone one of them claims that they are the true religion and that all others are evil. It's sounds like a fucking race to be elected president of a big heap of bullshit. This universe has been slowly chugging along for ages without the need for a god why should there suddenly be a need for one? Religion is a wholly human creation. When we see something that we cannot explain we A) Try to figure it out or B)God did it I'm all for people believing in religion if it makes your brief stay on this rock easier but I can't stand people that try to force their beliefs on other people.
I'm sure it's been said already but this poll is terribly flawed. Do I know that God exists? No. Do I know that God doesn't exist? No. I don't know! The three hardest words for most people to say. I find it easier to scream it at the top of my lungs while pulling my hair out.
No one is going to know for sure until they die, but I keep the faith and I do and always will believe there is a God. My faith has been challenged a few times but I've maintained it.
God defined differently than we're defining it definitely exists for some people. There are people who call the earth God, the sun God, a lot of people call money God, I sometimes call myself God. A lot of people call a lot of things "God". We're talking about unperceptible yet supposedly material spiritual deities right? If we're not then what the fuck is the point of this poll? The answer would be yes as long as you call something that has been proven to exist God. If I called my guinea pig God, then I would have to vote yes because God clearly exists. She's drinking from her water bottle over in the corner.
I looked for 10 fucking minutes and I still couldn't find God. You just live to mislead people don't you?
