Just cleaned my dreads

    What should I do to clean up the loose hairs and make them look neater?

    aloe vera will work nicely... a friend of mine, a rasta man, puts shea butter on his dreads.

    you've got african type hair, right? you are so lucky not to have to deal with real loose hairs. i'd say a bit of aloe palmrolled into your locks wouldn't hurt. but, because you have such thin locks i'd keep palmrolling to a minimum so they don't break.

    yeah I have african "nappy" hair..i just wanna clean up the fuzziness..

    Ahoy ... from what I can see in the pics, the loose hair is in the locks themselves, so you have nothing to worry about because the locks just need to mature a bit more. Sis's and Bro's back in SA that have a similar hair type to yours would just where tams or beanies a lot until their locks had matured, especially when sleeping. The wool cause friction, which will help ‘solidify’ the locks.
