Was it the aloe or the ACV?

I did a deep cleanse last week and ended up making my hair a little too silky and soft.

I put aloe on it the night before and rinsed with ACV... I used to use ACV all the time until I ran out and did wihtout for two months. So I have no idea what made my hair too silky. I know someone said that ACV made their hair too soft when they used it so I'm wondering if I experienced the same thing or if it was the aloe...

Yes, I lead a very exciting life.

    apple cider vinegar.

I've used it a few times, and it definitely made it feel soft. that could be it!

ACV, have you tried just washing your hair with bicarb soda, made my locks feel soft and really clean

    ty all.

brothermat, I usually just wash with bicarb and it's never gone flat and silky like this. It was when I did the deep cleanse that it happened. So I can only assume it was the ACV as pandy and vig suggested. So I will likely be steering clear of it from now on.

I do vaguely remember someone else saying the same thing about it... I think it may have been mamakat.

Ok cool, ACV is great for removing wax, did you have any waxy buildups in your dreads? because your dreads would feel a hell of alot cleaner without any wax in them
