i really enjoyed it. it didn't go on with the music part of woodstock, but it explained how it all got formed and how it changed so many peoples lives. i heard from a bunch of people it wasn't going to be good and blahblah but being a film student and critiquing a film that i know a lot about the history i really enjoyed it. a lot of movies normally make fun of hippies or any sort of thing like that but this didn't really (except all of the new yorkers at the time that thought they'd start the riots) other then that nothing to make you feel bad also there was this one kick-ass beautiful scene where elliot did acid for the first time, they made the visuals look amazing and demetri martin really pulled off the feelings how you would look and feel physically and the happiness and anxiety at some times.. it really was good and i enjoyed it a lot.
i always do. critics usually arent open minded, they have their own taste in movies and wont give movies they have no interest in a good critique. i go by what i see. if i'm disappointed, oh well. lol
yeah,, first everyone pretends to be harry potter, now everyone is going to pretend to be a hippie...
definitely wanna see it now. already did but was nervous it was gonna be a whole movie cracking jokes on hippies. glad to hear its not
Time to lay off my Perkamentus outfit! Hehe just kidding, I have no special feelings about this festival, although it sure looks like it was fun. I think it sounds like a great movie, looking forward to see it!
ohhh... you made the movie sound awesome. i want to see it. maybe that's what i'll do tonight. but i honestly can't wait for the new alice in wonderland to come out... in 3d that movie is going to be insane and jonny depp. i don't care who you are that man is amazing. yay for movies
i saw it last week as well and thought it was awesome. they approached the film from the right angle i think and actually made an, what i could call, informative film on the event. it was great
