amt FREEBASE?

I just noticed a certain vendor who's offered AMT for a little while sells amt freebase.

this struck me as odd, because I recall him initially selling amt hcl.

IS vaporization the only workable ROA for AMT base?

 

it still says "Form: HCL salt" in the top, so hes not being clear.

seriously...i'd email him and ask, but i'm sill not entirely sure my tree wants any amt, so i don't want to bother him...

 

if your tree has a passing interest in psychedelics, feeling fun, cool things, good things, or any combination of those sets, then yes, you need to get your tree some motherfucking amt.

He has changed it to "form: freebase", so yes, it appears now that his aMT stock is FB. aMT is typically sold this way, I guess its easier to synth. Smoking this must be very cool! I imagine no body load at all, and erowid says it lasts just as long as oral, which is quite unusual.

Nah, my tree has 2gs of the HCL. thats enough for a lifetime of tripping. i can always convert to FB if i really wanna try smoking.

well...i'm no chem major, but i'd imagine converting it to an HCL would be pretty easy as well.

add proper amount of hcl to solvent containing the amt, some reaction, crystals fall to bottom? or would you have to gas it like the end of a MeAm [sketch] synth?

...at any rate, i'd much rather have it as a salt, unless you can still do oral/rectal[/nasal?] ROA's if it's a base.

 

yes originally he carried HCL (or maybe it was FB all along and he just realized ^_^). I would go off what the baggy says. Usually FB requires higher oral dosage (?)

Mine says HCl, but I'm beginning to wonder if it is freebase. It was very hard to dissolve in DI H20 even at 5mg/ml and warmed up. I haven't tested smoking it yet. I guess that'll give me my answer.

yeah it would also explain the powerful odor, which is apparently "much less" with the HCL, but I mean shit, if I have the HCL, and it smells this bad, the freebase would be simply impossible to transport, period.

Smoking is another ok way to test I suppose, but its very hard to know whether or not you got the HCL smoked high or the FB smoked high. Is there any kitchen chemistry way of testing whether its hcl or fb? lets write off water dissolving speed for now, is there any other way?

 

Don't take my word for it but I think the Hcl would leave a residue when vaporized, and the freebase won't. I remember reading something like that somewhere online awhile ago.

 

I'm not exactly sure. I haven't had time to browse around on BL for more info on this. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if the dosages for oral on erowid are HCl and smoked are freebase? Also, I find it hard to believe that the smoked dosage lasts near as long as oral. I don't know of any other chems that this occurs(psychs especially).

 

Ok so some googling reveals that smoking aMT results in a high that is much more speedy, much less euphoric or psychedelic, and lasts 4-6 hours shorter. F that.

I'm actually happy to have the base as I know from first experiments that it's active rectally(and probably orally) and have the option of smoking if I want a somewhat shorter experience.

Also, the base is apparently more potent:
freebase: 174.24 g/mol

HCl salt: 174.24 + 36.5 (HCl) = 210.74g/mol

174.24/210.74= .08268 (~83% )

For a 30mg dose of freebase if you have the HCl salt: 30/0.83= 36mg

30mg dose of HCl salt if you have freebase: 30*0.83= 25mg
