What bands are have you been listening to a lot of lately?

I've noticed I've been listening to a lot of Kreator, Death, and Sodom.

I've always liked 'em but lately I just love the energy of it. Today I had to get my buddy to jam some fast thrashy riffs because I love doin' really fast beats on the drums. It's so fun just goin' back and forth. Kick snare kick snare kick snare. It's awesome... damn I wish I knew someone who could play metal drums.

Lots of older Stratovarius and band member's solo projects. Also, live Nightwish has been getting a lot of play on my ipod.

I can do it. But I need to be the guitarist. If only I could play both instruments at once.

Yeah multitracking yourself just ain't the same as actually jamming with a good drummer.

Dood, I just hooked up with an awesome heavy drummer and we have been layin' it down! (need bass player now)... It is so fuckin' cool and as a rock guitarist, I'm baaack, baby!
