    Yup.

    Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax.

I really don't think Anthrax should go if they have this tour because... Well they're a wreck right now. They should bring Testament instead Anthrax...

Fuck, it gives me chills thinking about Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Testament playing together. That would be insane.

Fuck that, they should bring Exodus. I don't know if I'd go though, because Metallica and Slayer are WAAAAAAAAY past their prime when it comes to playing shows, and even releasing new albums. Seeing Slayer live in August was the most dissapointing event in my life. Plus it would be so much fucking money.

    Here's my idea.

    James Hetfield: vocals, rythym
    Kirk Hammett: Lead
    Dave Lombardo: Drums
    Tom Araya: Bass

    SlaytallicA

That would eliminate Lars' shitty drumming and Kerry and Jeffs pathetic guitar playing as of lately.

In the past few years Kirk has been playing very sloppy but I've been watching some live vids of the World Magnetic tour and I'm fucking surprised. He used to do the same solo some point in the show to get the crowd going nuts but he's been doing a new one and jesus christ is it ever good.

There was actually a show were Lars didn't play and Dave filled in for some songs. Best Metallica sounded in years, it was actually heavy as fuck.

I saw Megadeth 2 years ago when they opened for Black Sabbath (playing under the name Heaven & Hell). It was cool, they tried to fit as much music in their time slot as could, so they took no time at all in between songs. Just continuous playing.

Love the double bass at the end, Dave sounded great.

I was starting to think that as of lately. But then I watched some recent live performances. They're playing really well again, Lars is the only flaw in the band now. Hetfield blew my fucking mind with his vocals this tour, he used to sound like he inhaled helium back in 04 but he's actually growling again.

It's almost as if Slayer and Metallica have switched places.... Slayer have been so bad live as of lately.. Tom sings the same vocal pattern for every god damn song.. I don't know whats happening in the metal world.

Testament and Megadeth are the only bands that have stayed consistently good live. Seeing Testament last year showed me what a metal show should be... They blow Metallica and Slayer out of the water performance wise.

Last time I saw Slayer live was back in 07, they still kicked ass, I dont think its so much that they are getting worse live, more that the last two albums have kind of sucked. So theres nothing new, so if you see Slayer live and your sick of the old stuff it might not be as good.

Havent seen Metallica live since late 90s, which is the last time they bothered coming down under I think.

As for Lars, he was always the weakest link. Justice is my favourite Metallica album, awesome album, but even on that the drums sound like he's banging on a couple upturned plastic buckets.

Saw Testament live last year, agreed, they were awesome
