If person A was mailing secret cookie recipes to person B, and person A wanted to remain anonymous, which would be best: 1) Omit the return address 2) Put a fake return address (so as not to raise suspicion) 3) Put legit return address? (no one would suspect a standard envelope to contain secrets) Gotta love those damn cookies! :cheers2:
A fake return address will be a flag, a fake return address sent from a zip code not near where the pack is mailed is two flags. Use the street address of an apartment complex near the drop box you are using, but don't specify a number. The address will show up as valid on the off chance it is checked, and the zipcode will show up as near the mailing spot, but if it is returned to sender no one will be able to open it as there will not be an apartment listed and the made up name you use will not live at that complex (although someone might try and open it anyways I doubt it). Also remember to wear gloves for the entire packaging procedure, and not just latex gloves. Latex gloves are so thin that if dust or debris gets on them they pretty much make a stamp of the ridges of your fingerprints when you press down with them. They are also so thin they can leave very small pressure imprints that can be recovered with special fingerprint retrieval techniques. Best choice is to use tight fitting driving gloves with latex gloves over them, and switch latex gloves at least once during the packaging procedure (assuming you vac seal the cookie recipe, after it is vac sealed submerge it in bleach heavily diluted in water and then switch latex gloves, then after drying the vac bag and possibly vacing it again you wont contaminate the outside with trace residue from touching the recipe the first time). Tape it down to some construction paper, fold it over like a letter and put it in an envelope, print the return address and shipping address and throw on a hat and drop it off in a box. Should be pretty impossible to trace it back to you.
Why, of course not. If I trusted a tattletale like you with SECRET cookie recipes, they wouldn't be secret anymore, now would they?
carlos, are you on the un? white_magic......do you care to back up you empty statement that I am a tattletale? :toetap05: Or are you just a lil punk that runs his mouth?
ODB, you are getting offended to easy. He wasn't even trying to be offensive. If he told me that, I would have laughed. It's not that he thinks you are a tattle tale, it's just that he doesn't know you. He was just saying that there is a reason it is secret. You don't tell everyone your secrets. Only your very close friends. You dig??!?!?! Have one of these :chillpill:, free from codmeister3.
Then think about what you say before you say it. I do not like people making false accusations about me. To all those that think I over reacted.....fuck off. If someone makes a false statement about someone they better expect to be asked why and to back their claim up. And yes little punk bitches say things that they cannot back up. There are many ways he could have been 'funny' without implying that I am either a Narc, CI, or PI. or a leak of any sort. That was a loaded bullshit remark by him.
Of course, BS is on the money on all counts. Regarding the use of invalid mailing addresses...I know that every piece of mail the PO processes begins it's journey with a scan of the mailing address. Their first order of business is to check to see the address as written or typed is a valid one. They don't want any parcels entering the system that are undeliverable as written. Now, I'm not sure if the return address gets scanned for validity along the way(I doubt it) but to repeat, never make up a return address. That's a red flag.
ya i basically quit tradin stuff with people on the internet because of all the strange name's people use as a return address. They arent even illegal items..borderline but not as bad as rc's. Binaryshadow definately gave some great tips i never even thought of
Make sure you don't use a laser printer. In the USA (at least), they have ways of tracing the printer that was used (this an anti-counterfeiting/other stuff measure). They can then possibly trace that back to its buyer. Get a printer off craigslist or a classified ad for cash, preferably when you're in a different city, and got pick it up. Also be careful where and how you get your envelopes, stamps and paper (if you're doing this a lot) because there are also methods to trace ransom and threat notes this way. Will they go to such trouble for drugs? I'd guess not, but nobody but "they" know for sure.
i have worked at the post office....you could write the secret recipe on the outside of the envelope and no-one would bat an eye....also please pm recipe as i am always interested in a good cookie
