kolonopin

i just got my script bumped up from a .5 to 1mg. They never seemed to work for me no matter how many i take. maybe this kind of drug just doesnt work for me? how many does the average person take to get fucked up from them? I have a fairly i tolerence for them.

 

Hmm, my tolerance to them developed quite quickly, I took 6 mgs today and only got a small buzz.

 

Its not one of the stronger benzos. If you continue to have issues with em', perhaps they may movie you to Xanax

 

i was taking lorazepam and then my doc switched me to .5 then 1mg and shes already had someone tell her i was abusing them so she was a bit hesitant to give me the 1mg. I dont think it would be the best idea to ask for xanax right now.lol

clonazepam doesn't do shit for a lot of people prescribed it...you may have to try something stronger.

 

yea ill have to talk to my doc about it and see if shell get me something better but ima with a while. i think if she gives me a drug screen to see that im not a druggie she wont have a problem

 

clonazepam is a short acting benzo, alprazolam,xanax, is a long acting. they wouldnt swithch you from klonopin to xanax ever. maybe clonazepam to lorazepam...

i love benzo's though. your lucky to be prepscribed them. all i get is abilify... =[

 

Why wouldnt they switch me? i was prescribed lorazepam then she switched me to the kpins. loazepam sucks balls. i want xanax!

I think it might be ADD.

benzos have never, ever 'fucked me up' and I have taken many different kinds, many different times.

Think about it, if you are high strung, and take a relaxer... you may need more of this relaxer than the average person... and even then, you may never get fucked up.. just get a little hazy or possibly fall asleep.

All in all I say fuck benzos. They don't do anything that a good drink or two can't do :cheers2:

 

They don't make you NAUSEOUS, you don't have to drink a shitload of a disguisting liquid, you don't have to piss every 5 mins etc. Just take however much you want to and be prepared to do some stupid shit

And to the OP, the reason why they probably aren't working is because of your tolerance. Your taking them everyday correct?

 

nope not even. i dont feel like they do anything so i dont see the point of taking them everyday like theyre prescribed. if i get real stressed or panicy i just take a few and nothing really happens. ive never tried taking a bunch of them but probably tommorrow i will take like 5 of the 1mgs and see what happens. if nothing does, ill just stick with my good ol mary jane

 

you are wrong in saying that klonopin is short acting and xanax is long acting.
in benzos-xanax is the shortest acting benzo which means it hits you really fast and wears off pretty fast.(this is why xaxax is the most abused benzo)

klonopin would be the second benzo,it has a longer half life than xanax.it is used for chronic anxiety.there is alot less abuse potential with this drug.

then comes volume-this is the longest acting benzo there is. there is very little abuse on this med.it is also used for anxiety and if i remember correctly it helps pain.im not 100% sure on the pain part.

lorazapam if i remember correctly is given is prescribed for sleep ,buy im sure i
it can be used for something else.

Clonazepam (klonopin) is still good tho. Though it might not be as good as xanax its still better than lorazepam (ativan). Its funny how different people have SUCH different tolerances to benzos:
I took 6 mg of clonazepam one day, was having a great time so my friend decided to take 4 mg. He blacked out hardcore that night and had no recollection of anything that morning. I didn't even have a tolerance when I took that 6 mg either. And my friend weighs 210 pounds when I'm only around 115 (I'm extremely skinny, too bad my natural tolerance doesn't follow that)

 

i have(had) a huge tolerance when i was on benzos. but when i first started and i was able to get high on them, i would pop them every other day for math class. it was pretty fun. plus when i didnt have any weed i could always grab some vodka and play "how much can i take before i get paralyzed".

 

i really dont know where you guys learned about benzos but xanax is the shortest acting then comes klonopin then valium.
they will not switch you from klonopin too xanax.xanax is highly addictive and is usually used first when taking ssris till they start working but if you have chronic anxiety then they will give klonopin.i do not get a buzz from them buti also dont have chronic anxiety anymore,so they helped me alot.
