My dreadlocks currently have very blunt rounded ends, as the guy who helped me do them told me it was better and would lock up faster. I liked them at first, but I see other people with dreadlocks and the loose wispy ends and i LOVE the way it looks, so much more natural!

is it possible for me to make my ends more wispy? Im scared to cut incase something goes horribley wrong

Just brush out the ends. It should be fine.

A lot of people start with wispy wanting blunt tips.

I personally like my wisps =D

wow they look really good! thats pretty much exactly how I want mine to look haha :)
Mmm i definitely prefer the wispy look, I just think it looks more femanine and I like the way they spiral out of control and are a bit crazy! My nice round blunt ends are just way too neat for my liking! I've tried brushing the ends out but it's too tightly knotted now (and because of the way he blunted them, the hairs go up and sideways and in and arent just strraight mats)

put some conditioner in the ends and pick at the dread to take the hairs out and comb them so they are wispy again. I have to do it to a few of mine that have curled up and rounded, I don't want round tips I think they look like penis'
