Please, does anyone know about blues?

A friend of mine recently gifted me a beautiful Blue Dream mother plant. I'm a fairly experienced grower, but I've never dealt with a blue before. My question is: in order to bring out the color of the flowers, do you treat it the same as a purple? Or is there another technique? Thank you so much for any good info.

 

If it's in the genetics all ya gotta do is keep her healthy and you should be all set.

Not sure the blue dream will be turning blue though... that cut is a cross of dj shorts blueberry and an old school haze from cali, I'm pretty sure that it'll be staying green. I've yet to grow it out but it's suppose to be similar to strawberry cough in that it's a quick flowering haze hybrid. Good shit!! :sifone:

 

quite often blue/purple varities will only show vivid colours if they are finished of in a cooler environment
