tattoos dont mean shit until retrospect.

you can tell yourself they have all this meaning but really they dont.

there is symbological value, which yes, does have "meaning" but the tattoo itself is nothing more then a reminder of where you were at in life when you got it, which ultimately is the meaning behind them.

at least thats how i feel. my ink is my art, and it shows where i have been. its an evolution of me.

again, some people might feel differently, but thats how i feel about them

yes thats true, but don't you think if you look at a tattoo and it reminds you of a good time in your life...then don't you think that tattoo will mean a lot to you? this is what i amean about tattooos with 'meanings' tattooes that mean a lot to you or have a personal meaning to you...i don't know if i am making any sense

i think they do. to me its both art and a reminder of something that has meaning to me. it might not make sense to anyone else but I know what they mean and to me its special. its not the case for everyone though unfortuneatly.
