for the last month ive been taking suboxone/naloxone pills. each pill has 2mg suboxone and .5mg naloxone. ive been taking 4-5 pils a day for the last month. ive finally been able to find some oxy and i want to know how long i need to wait after discontinuing the sub/nalox so i dont waste the oxy. any help would be greatly appreciated peace -Blitz
Not sure about the combo but for subs the general rule is something like 24 hrs. there was a thread posted a couple days ago called "Do you like subs" the OP said to pm them if you have questions apparently that person has been taking them awhile and would probably know. Hope that helps.
Blitz-to answer your question:atleast 2-3 day's to the sub's are totally out of your body-so when you start to feel like shit.If you take them to early your right you will just waste them.Also keep in mind sub wd's are usually worse than regular opiate wd's.
really? i have had 0 WD from subs and i took my last full dost like 5 days ago, tho the last couple days ive taken a smaller dose so im still gonna hold off for another day i think
What you don't want is precipitated withdrawals, dunno if thats what Miasma meant when he said 'sub wd's.' Precipitated withdrawals are the ABSOLUTE WORST.
If you have been taking subs for more than 3 days in a row you need to wait 72 hours before the subs are out of your system. If you took 4mgs of subs for 1 day you need to wait at least 36 hours. If you took 2mg of subs for 1 day you need to wait wait at least 24 hours. but I did a 2mg sub and 18 hours later I took my normal 80mgs of morphine and it worked great. I have been studying bupe for the last 2 weeks. and been getting a ton of answers from people on them, because I'm going on a sub taper next week. So I think my answers for you are pretty accurate Hope this helps you out.
