I moved to San Francisco recently hoping it would be something it is not. From my experience, most of it is very pretentious, centered around stupid social games, all about ego, etc. Basically, I'm looking for the opposite of this when I move next year. I've done a good amount of searching, and every time I come across a place that sounds welcoming, I come across plenty of "everything has gone downhill here recently" type reviews : /. Maybe some of you can help me. I am looking for a place with: -Genuinely friendly and open minded people who are not controlled by their egos. -Nature. Nothing specific, just a place that has some life left untouched by concrete and cell towers. Definitely not urban. -Reasonable weather. Just not overcast/cold constantly. -Free thinkers of all kinds. People who are actually informed. People who live with the earth, not against it. Activists. Psychonauts. Vegans! etc. -A setting in which I don't need to own a car to live. Biking/public transport=good (this one's not necessarily that important though. Might be a lot to ask given the no city preference) -Hopefully not too far toward the east coast, but I'm open to any suggestions. Do places like this still exist? Do any of you live in a place that even remotely matches this description? Thanks in advance. : )
I'm surprised you were not able to find what you were looking for in San Francisco. That is very disappointing news. I am not sure any place like you are looking for exist. Now or ever. You look just like a commie and mite just be a member. Get out of Denver baby get out of Denver. LOL
