anyone remember ripley's believe it or not?

    i fuckin loved that show, is it even still on these days? i dont have cable therefore i barely turn on the tv anymore...:(

    I remember that show,it was fairly good.Not a favorite of mine,but ok.--On the topic of cable, even if one has cable it seems alot of the good older shows are not shown anymore.It seems within the last 5-10 years ,alot of(re-runs) of the good older shows were pulled off the air,why I don't know.--It's ironic,when there were only 3 major channels and a few others there was always something good to watch.Now people literally have 100s of channels,and most of those are rubbish.--As a child+teenager in the 1970s,we had 3 channels,and PBS,and one or 2 local stations,and again there was always something good on the television screen.You did not even need a remote control.--Less often is more.

    About the cable- I agree. I went to visit with some friends who had cable. I ran into a couple good programs but there were so many channels I wanted to see what else was on. There was mostly trash so by the time I got back to the good show- it was over. lol

    i used to watch this show ALL THE TIME when i was younger.
