el presidente' vs g bong

i have a group of friends that refer to gravity bongs (sobe style) as el presidente' or el's and another group of friend that call it a gravity bong. i heard gravity bong first and it's probably more common. but i was wondering how many of you tokers have heard of el presidente.

i got the idea that she meant waterfall too by "sobe style"

a gravity bong is a bucket of water, with a cut off 2 liter bottle and bowlhead
you pull the hit by raising the 2L and creating a vacuum

a waterfall is punching a small hole in the bottom of a bottle. have the bowlhead in the cap. plug hole, fill with water, light weed as water is flowing out the hole in the bottom - same idea, different ways to do it

el presidente is a nickname i guess
an el or L is a blunt

gravity bongs = bong that you set in a bucket of water, pull up to drag smoke, then push down using gravity to receive your hit
waterfall bong = bong that releases water, pulling the smoke in for you to take your hit

We call grav bongs "buckets", here. Haven't hit one for a long time though...glass+vape ftw.

 

My feeling is that who ever came up with that name was stoned.

 

gb's are in a league of their own.

 

If anyone asked me to smoke an "el" i would obviously think they meant an "L".. and would be expecting them to spark a joint.. and would be pissed if they pulled out some shotty busted up sobe bottle
