I just got back from my first Red Sox game. One of my classmates texted me right before he got to class and told me his manager had free tickets, so he grabbed 2.Too bad it got called out in the 7th inning. Toronto whooped our asses....11-4 haha The rain was pretty awesome though and a bunch of drunk people were dancing in the rows.It ended pretty well I must say...not bad for a first game.
Sweet. I went to my first baseball game since I was 5 or so on Saturday. Saw Toronto beat Seattle. I got a 75$ ticket for 25$ because some scalper had to run sell hockey tickets. It was pretty cool as well. Glad you enjoyed
I'm not a fan of baseball but I loooove baseball games. I went to a couple Pirates games last summer, it was a lot of fun.
I'm exactly the same sara.It was sooooo different from watching it on tv.I was actually into the game. Also, we had like 5 or 6 straight rounds of crowd wave.haha I felt so stupid but it was fun as hell. Now I'm waiting for a Celtics or Bruins game. Those would fuckin rock!
Omg I love the crowd waves! Hahah.. The couple times that everyone did it we made it clear around the stadium. It was fuckin cool
nobody ever wants to do the wave when im at games...everyone just kinda looks at me like im some drunk just getting up and down with my hands in the air
baseball games are fun, of course the phillies always seem to lose when i go (which isn't often). they're so much better than football games though. might just be because i haven't ended up sitting near obnoxiously drunk and rowdy people at phillies games, whereas eagles games, not quite so...
Then you've probably seen my one friend roaming around the streets of philly during those times haha. She is all about philly, and everytime there's a game she's there partying her ass off and running through the streets drunk
the last phillies game i was at had a rain delay and they lost miserably. it was still pretty fun though, until we got stuck in traffic for hours...
the last one i went to had a rain delay as well...im not sure if we won or not lol i know it was free hat day though cause i had a convorsation with a drunk chick about how much more i loved my free hat then she loved her free hat
Before the patriots were a competitive team, the crowds at foxboro were rowdy enough to scare away thieves, rapists, and murderers Hotwater
phillies fans flipped over a public transit bus and a bunch of cars and broke windows because we won the world series...imagine what we would have done if we lost
free hats are cool. i have a hat from the company of the wheelchair i own. it says "quickie- nothing beats a quickie." it's been the subject of more than a few laughs.
