i was reading somewhere that between the ages of 18-23 that if you have dual citizenship that you have to give it up between those ages, is this true?

I do not think you have to give it up your citizenships between the ages of 18-23 or for that matter any age.Matter fact if you are talking about your US citizenship I'm almost positive you don't have to give it up.--However to be on the safe side, check into it further perhaps by calling the embassy(s) or something similiar. In other words don't go by what you may see on something like a you tube video,lol.---We all know how much nonsense and misinformation is on the internet.

    Hallo raz,

muddy waters here.

i'd say my english is a lot more weird then my german though... at times i guess.

well yes, i wanted to for a while but without a citizenship i wouldn't be able to get a good job, which means hard to get an apartment or home, and i didn't want to give up my US one since my mothers side of the family is here and my siblings. and before my dad got sick we were going to move back but we couldn't since he fell ill.

    Hi raz,

indeed, it is. Even for citizens of the European Union it is not easy to gain multiple citizenship. Unfortunately it's not a standardised process.
