This will be a rather long rant about my thoughts on spirituality/existence in general, just to warn you first. I have been trying to determine the nature of god/existence for a long time and each time I have an idea that I think might be right, I have to question it, analyze it and tear it apart to find something else. So please understand I do not claim my views as fact, or anything near it. I am simply seeking and analyzing, assuming and making logical educated guesses. I am open to all opinions. I used to believe that Jesus was god, my family would argue about the same religion which would make me analyze and question things in depth. I asked myself why do I believe in the religion in which I am in? The simple answer was that I believed it because I was taught to believe it, just as a Muslim is taught to believe their religion, or an atheist may be taught to believe in the absence of a god. None of them are right though are they? they just had an idea but what is the truth? Is it possible to find truth or are all things subjective? I began to analyze and try to understand the different spectrum's of my reality, there is positive energy and negative energy or as it is popularly called the yin and yang. There are indeed two sides to every energy (hope/despair, chaos/order, positive/negative, high energy/low energy) but what is good and what is bad can be highly dependent on a subjective point of view, depending on what harmonizes with your inner core. Every religion that I have heard about teaches that their god is pure love and high energy, that their god is perfect. But what is perfection? Perfection to me is an unbiased whole, the full spectrum of high/low energy, light and dark as one. To be perfect would god not need to be a full sphere of yin and yang, not simply one half of perfection? If this is true, it answers a lot of questions about the idea of a hell to me. Originally I had thought that hell would be impossible because god is pure love, pure understanding, pure light and that hell could not only not exist but also a pure loving being would not allow you to go there. But after thinking that god/existence is just a frequency spectrum, un-bias in nature, one can conclude that by living in high energy you synchronize your core self with high energy, if you die in that state it is reasonable to assume that you move on into a high-energy existence (heaven etc) however, if your inner core self synchronizes with despair best, and low energy then that is where you would end up. In this idea, there is no judging bias god condemning you to hell, but simply an un-bias gradient of energy which synchronizes with your inner harmony and allows you to go where you feel relates to you. .... I was also thinking of the scientific law of cause and effect, even in chaos theory there must be a cause for the effect which appears to be chaos. Cause and effect is the mathematical law which governs all things in science, when you flip a coin there is no real chance that it may be a head or a tail - there is only mathematical fact which is predetermined through cause and effect with many variables (how you flip it, angle, speed, time, environment conditions and so on, which are all dependent on cause and effect as well back to the beginning of this reality.) This made me think then, that there are no choices, there is no free-will but all things are a mathematical sum equation of all cause-effect relations. (fate) and that there is no point then to anything I do, no matter what I do I cannot escape the law of fate. I thought well, what was the first cause? In science you can go back as far as you want, the initial cause logically and reasonably had to have come from outside of space-time/science. If you find an initial cause in science, you have to ask "what caused that?" The universe may be infinite in size, but it is not infinite in time. Infinite in time would be seen by the fact that there would be far more planets with evolved life on them, in infinite time the universe would not be so empty as it appears. So there logically was a start, the gradient energy of perfection (god) would then reside outside of space time and is not governed by the scientific law of cause and effect but instead is the creator of cause and effect. Unbound by it's own creation this creator may be able manipulate cause and effect to create miracles which are scientifically unexplainable. (premonitions/psychic abilities etc) This stands to reason then, that if you are in harmony with the creator - both yin and yang energy equally and unbiased, the scientifically unexplained can happen outside of cause and effect. I would love to hear what anyone else thinks on this matter if they have the time.
We may find absolute consensus that the idea of God exists. We find many disparate opinions as to whether or not, and in what form, there is an entity named God. Of the things we know to exist, much objective material can be discovered. Of the things we believe to exist, nothing objective can be reported as belief is a substitute for knowledge.
