I was on suboxone treatment for over a year and recently got off it a month ago. It seemed that throughout the treatment, my hair would recede more and more and would just get thinner and thinner in those dreaded widows peak spots. My girlfriend recently noticed that the spots that were thin, have started to get thicker, and it actually covers more. Anyone have any similar problems? Loosing my hair is in my genes, but usually not this early, im just about to turn 22, and it didnt start happening bad untill about 26 for my dad. Maybe it was all of the research chemicals
I know a few dudes that have started losing there hair at that age, it sucks but it not as uncommon as you may think. RIP hair
Well, yeah, I was just figuring that, but my hair is coming back!!! I think its due to quitting suboxone, its gotten so much thicker in the thin area's, pretty shocking.
thats weird man, it could have been due to the stress of addiction, which im assuming you had since you were on subs..because even if you have been off the subs for a montht hats really soon for hair to start thickening back up..its be like a 6 month thing from the time your body was under stress until the you started to notice anything to do with hair loss, i know when i was always worried bout getting dope and all the stress that goes with it i noticed symptoms farther in like a year into my use
I was treated w suboxone for over 8 mo. no loss of hair, constipation like a mofo but kept the hair......then again my hairs always been thick so if I did lose any didn't notice.
Its been almost 3 months clean(somewhat ) off sub, and its only been the past week or so, that its started to get thicker, and I didn't have to worry about getting more sub, I wasnt stressing like I was before I was on it, because I had a constant script, and I made a 30 day script, last 90.. so I was not worried at all. Oh well, im less bald, lookin sexier, cant wait to shoot some more dope! LOL :-D
