Are there any bananas that are NOT Chiquita? I've seen Dole stickers on a few that I've bought recently. Are they a separate company, or one of Chiquita's puppets?

 

I buy my bananas from the organic good store. They're red...and taste a shitload better than those bland supermarket bananas.

 

That's crazy, man. I mean, I know it's smartest to pretty much assume any major corporation is engaged in some shady practices to maximize the almighty dollar, but this just bums me out. How should we know what we're buying until this stuff comes out? I feel so lazy for not looking into it until this point...

well, it looks like my work here is done because i buy dole bananas, although i do like the chiquita logo... and makihiko, the bananas we know and love are going extinct.
