I saw a woman who predicted my future. I asked her some questions and she gave me answers on them? Could this dream be the precognitive one? Should I trust it?
That won`t be easy, because this prediction seems impossible right now! The circumstances are different than those in my dream.
i had that happen to me once in real life, under some very strange circumstances. but i think my mind was practically shouting at her what i wanted to hear. i even checked this by thinking a couple of things very specifically, never speaking one word of them. sure enough, they came back word for word and concept for concept. what i don't trust about the whole concept of precog is the motivation for wanting it. i mean we dream things, and sometimes we find ourselves in real life where, how, something very like we dreamed them, and this is what we call deje vu. this sense of having been somewhere, done something, we hadn't previously done physically. and i know in my case, this is do to having previously dreamed them, sometimes when this happens i remember the actual dream in which they did. but even if i wake up remembering a dream that latter turns out, something like it to happen, the problem then is, i just never know, and i kind of doubt anyone else does, because dreams don't seem to have a real connection to time sense in this world, so there's no telling WHEN any of these things will happen, whether its a matter of day or hours or years or decades, we, or at least i, just never know. so i just have to take as, ok, someday something like this, or somehow like this in some way, might or might not happen. so if i can prepare for it in more general terms that's one thing, having my mind prepared for their eventuality, that's pretty much always a good thing, to have the mind prepared for ANY eventuality. the thing i wouldn't trust is placing too much importance on this idea of precognition. just as with other expectations, it can often prove a source of disappointment. i'm not saying it has to be, just something to be mentally and otherwise prepared for that too.
