I dont know. It just said something along the lines of "Happy birthday from the Free Mason branch of Minnesota! Wishing you blessings on your birthday and throughout the year!"

    I think it's really strange.

Bwahaha. Mabey they made a mistake thinking you were one of them.

Suppose it could be recruitment technique..lol

Did it specify what lodge it was : blue, red etc?

Well, the card was blue. And it had the common masonic symbol with the square and compass with a capitol G in the middle.

If you're not a Mason, both possibilities have already been states: it was either a mistake or a recruiting technique. The question is, in either case, how did they get your info?

Think about it. If a family member of yours is at a somewhat high degree, they recruit family. My father got me in the Masons. Heheh. I see it as an experience and keeping my enemy around to figure out what is going on. Shiva is only a second degree. My father is approx. 15-18 degree. He will not tell me personally. But that is my estimate. Quite an interesting fraternity, I always say, keep my enemies within arms reach ;)

It is nice because i receive certain benefits from the community....lol

It's a trip infiltrating......shit, hope non of yall are masons..LMAO

In the UK its not unknown for Members of Parliament to send birthday cards to their constituents who have just turned 18 [the age you get the vote].

The motive there is easily understandable [especially if there's an election looming].

The Mason's though.... that's a little bit freaky. Maybe you're being head-hunted. Expect invitations to Masonic social events.

Maybe not the best choice of words. :)

Try: maybe your inherent Masonic qualities have been noted, and they want you on the team.

Perhaps they've identified that as one of the areas they're not 100% in and want to redress the balance a little.

Or maybe its a radical left masonic group.

Unlikely it's a prank. They don't really have masonic birthday cards at Hallmark.

the rosicrucions used to advertise in analog sf.

the freek masons as far as i know, is mostly a bizdroid thing.
pretty much its people likely to graduate from top rated law schools who have demonstrated a "conservative" inclination the i.o.f.m. are interested in.

i'd give it a good lol and let it go at that.
