More about body mod implants

Can someone tell me more about body modification implants, i think they're sub skin, but don't know much about them. Can you do them anywhere, how do they work exactly?

 

You can't do them just anywhere, if you're trying to do them somewhere that has a high mobility rate they don't heal well. My piercer wanted to get them on the back of his hands and was told no.

 

where would you want one?? they arent nice :ack2: well thats my opinion

 

thanks you 2, I think that pretty much made up my mind that I can't. I don't think it'd heal right. And as far as where i want them, i guess it doesn't matter considering the first answer. Seems a bit extreme now that I think more about it.

I've seen it. Not in person, but it's not impossible. Not really my thing, but to each his own.

I have two dermal anchors right on the side of my neck near my left ear. I LOVE them. However, I think they are beginning to grow out. I'm thinking of getting them removed but they do have to be cut out and I just have not had the guts to take that pain yet. Ideally I'd like to get two more on my collar bone but haven't decided yet. I've gotten TONS of compliments on them tho. Everyone who has seen them said they have never seen such a thing before and they were shocked. I do live in a small town tho, which is probably the reason for that
