5-0 Baby The pupil became the master. You suck Tom Brady biggest Vagina in professional sports, save Venus Williams'. Everybody realize that this team is not a pretender NOW?
The worst day for Boston sports fans. The Red Sox blew it and then so did the Pats. I think you're dumb if you actually think the Broncos are a better team than the Patriots. Tom Brady lost that game for his team by playing absolutely terrible the entire second half. He hasn't been the same since that cheap shot last season, but you still gotta love the guy if your a football fan.
lol the Broncos got lucky a bunch of times, and now everyones celebrating cause they beat the pats. the jets did it too, its not impossible
Tom Brady is a shade of what he was as an athlete. That's how professional sports work, some days guys are on and guys are off. A truly great team will still find a way to win on their stars' off days. The Patriots didn't do that because THEY CAN'T!!! Just like most things from the NE USA they are overrated. Once the world stops fluffing Brady and Bellichick nuts, you will all see what I'm saying. I'm dumb for thinking the Broncos are better? Broncos 5-0 Patriots 3-2 Total Offense Yards per game (NFL RANK) Broncos 376.8 (6th) Patriots 361.8 ( 9th) Total Defense Yards per game (NFL RANK) Broncos 252.8 (2nd) Patriots 314.89 (11th) Head to Head 2009 Broncos 20 Patriots 17 Better record, more offensive yards per game, better defense, head to head. Four categories that matter most. The patriots are below the Broncos in everyone. Open your fuckin eyes, the Broncos are a legitimate contender who put the Patriots where they belong. I'm predicting 10-6 for the pats 13-3 for the Broncos. Any given sunday anyteam can win yes. At some point you have to recognize what is happening in the league though.
I'm a Patriots fan and cannot differ with this at all. The Pats are a very good second tier team which means they stand a decent chance of catching a wild card berth but will NOT make it to the conference championship because if they were to be lucky enough to win the wild card game that they may not even get they will NOT defeat any team good enough to catch a first round bye... that would be Indianapolis and Denver at this point. Lots of regular season to fo though and an abundance of teams that are going to give New England all they can handle. brady does not do so well when being chased out of the pocket and the o-line isn't protecting him any better than they are blocking for the running backs. their defense is actually pretty good but won't do well after opposing defenses figure out how to confuse Brady & co. and cause a few three-and-outs or turnovers. Winded defenses have a way of giving up chunks of yards and leaving passing lanes open. Their special teams are ok but nothing special... they are as likely to give up the big play as they are to make one. Lots of Belichick proteges out there who know how he runs things now and it's a hell of a lot more difficult to fool opposing defenses- especially when the core of what once was an elite team has left. New England is in a rebuilding phase and may well take a few more steps backward before having a chance of regaining their former stature as a conference powerhouse. They blew their load in '07 and were outplayed and outcoached in the Superbowl. It has been a steady downhill slide ever since.
Lol woops, shows how much I know about football I just like to see people get run over by Adrian Peterson
Gotta see how well their old man quarterback lasts through 16 games... trust me, the body does NOT recover the same at 40 as it does at 25 and I'm referring to AFC teams. Frankly the Giants are an elite team this season thus far; let's see how Minnesota does against them. The Pats are on par with the Cowboys as far as playoff/championship hopes are this year and both teams have a long way to go if they want to be the team to beat.
Oh wait, whos their head coach? Josh McDaniels? Where did he come from? Oh yeah, the Patriots thats right. Where did he learn everything he knows from? Not that old guy Belichick right? Oh wait yeah he did.
Refreshing to hear from a pats fans. Usually the ones I meet and talk to refuse to budge on worshipping B & B. Agreed on the O-line. Especially being as off his game as one as to be after missing an entire season due to injury, Brady needs that time and protection. I remember during the NEP's time as the best team in the world, their O Line was super dope, now mediocre. Don't know if its same guys getting older or new members. Broncos have been rebuilding for a minute and we still are, but things seem to be moving in the right direction, still not sold on having a mediocre QB in Orton but its what it is. There's nothing wrong with going through a rebuilding period I just get tired of all the NEP fluffers.
exactly. See my pointin the original post, the student becomes the master. Don't you get it? McDaniels was trained with all of old man bill's knowledge. The difference is old man bill has only his knowledge. McDaniels has old man bills plus all of his other influences. McDaniels was the better coach on Sunday. and by all the stats previously shared, appears to be doing a better job on the season. Plus, you are really going to fluff the greatness of a known cheater?
Josh McDaniels learned it very well... New England has exported much of its schemes in the form of coaches and assistants going elsewhere. Two years ago they ran the score up on many of their opponents- especially in the first half of the season... this year they're being played close--- they should have lost to Buffalo... Buffalo! They are NOT the team they were just a couple years ago... not even close. The Jets outplayed and outcoached them... they don't have a prayer against Indianapolis November 15- additionally the upcoming games against the Saints, Jets and Dolphins will all easily be losable- and don't expect any other teams to roll over and play dead either. Most teams "get it" that defensively all you have to do is pressure Tom Brady and you neutralize the passing attack and force them to run- which they aren't particularly productive doing. Keep their defense on the field and eventually they will begin to tire- leveling the playing field for just about any opposing offense. I doubt there will be many blow-outs this year- even against the Titans or Bucs.
The o-line is indeed mediocre as is the somewhat overrated QB- who wouldn't have been stripped of the ball had he the field awareness that the media hype would have us believe. Brady ain't a bad quarterback but the comparisons to Joe Montana are quite frankly embarrassing. He has benefited greatly simply by following one of the worst decision makers in team history in the person of Drew Bledsoe. New England should erect a statue to Mo Lewis in front of Gillette Stadium because without his hit to Bledsoe in week 2 of the '01 season we likely wouldn't be having this discussion now.
