Acid: "The Sunday night high"

When I was a kid in the early '70s, we used to call acid the "Sunday night high".

You see, in Colorado you couldn't buy booze on Sundays, except at a bar.

So, if we didn't have any pot or beer we would buy purple microdots for 50 cents a hit from this dude that had thousands in his freezer. Very potent hits too...250mics or so.

The Science fiction TV series "The Outer limits" was the last program on the air on Sunday night...
I swear, I musta seen every episode while trippin'.

I personally like to trip on Saturdays so I can recover on Sunday and have an extra day to reflect on the trip.

 

Npr used to have the dead hour on sundays.. I remember setting a time aside for it..

Well no, not a deadhead, but I used to have this pot connect that every time I went to his house, he would subject me to hours of recordings of Greatfull Dead shows and long lectures on the merits of dead music.
He was hoping my band would cover some dead stuff...we didn't, sorry.

Wow, sounds amazing! I wish acid was as cheap and easy to come by now as it was then. Sadly, I'm going to be waiting probably for at least another couple of weeks for my 10 strip to arrive for $100!! BOOOO!!!

But yeah a sunday night high?,sounds cool man, iam still on the line of wether or not iam going to try it again, i probably will though.....And ive only watched a episode or two of the outer limits, its some freaky shit lmao, the music always did something to me, kinda reminds me of the twilight zone. lol
