I’ve heard that before; in addition Las Vegas has odds on the success and failure of each individual based on an established set of goals i.e. college, marriage, workplace promotions, number of children, salary, individual awards or accomplishments etc..

Let’s say for instance that I want to bet $100 that ‘human X’ will be divorced by the age of 30. Vegas sets the odds and I lay down a bet.
