I'm a 58-year old hippie and writer living in Olympia, WA. I'm writing a book called HIPPIE RESURRECTION describing my original hippie values from the 60's/70's and what's happened to me and those values in the years since. I'm looking for people with similar stories who are willing to contribute short articles for the book, ranging from 2-3 sentences to 500 words, describing the evolution of their values. If you would be interested in knowing more, please write me at the email address below; and I'll forward the first draft of my first chapter to give you a better idea of what I'm trying to accomplish. I am 57 years old, and am still pretty much the hippie I was in 69. I still wear the floppy hat, fringe jacket, etc. I get the occasional stares, but for the most part folks are very cool..especially the kids in their 20's...the wanna-bes. They really want to know what a hippie really is, how they can be like one, what cause they should fight for, etc. And they really like hearing the stories about woodstock, which I attended in august for the 40th anniversary this year. sincerely; chip gray
