The Ancient Wisdom by Annie Bessant. It's theosophy, and some of it is surely BS, but it still resonated deeply with me when it goes into the afterlife. God Bless -
I've just opened the first few pages of Life after death: the book of answers by Deepak Chopra. - the critics say it combines scientific explanations with spiritual insight Shalom
The Canopus Revelation...In book form stuff rel;ating to the subhect..soory for the typos my editor just went wack hope you can read around it.. Canopus, for Egypt the South polar star, is the second brightest star in the sky and interplays with Sirius in such a way that ancient accounts say they control time and evolution. Furthermore, Canopus was the star of the navigators, both ancient and modern, and was believed to allow access to the Afterlife - the domain of Osiris. Canopus was specifically identified with his Chest, his Ark, in which he was transformed from mere mortal to resurrected supergod; an image that has inspired Mankind ever since. The story has been at the origin of the Grail legend and alchemy, both of which have a specific link to Canopus - revealed here for the first time.

Hans Holzer made a good living writing about ghosts and haunted loations. I do not believe he was ever exposed as a fraud. If ghosts exist, something of the mind can survive the death of the brain.
"Many Lives; Many Masters" by Dr. Brian Weiss was one I read. It wasn't my cup of tea but I've heard other people say they liked it.
